Statement of Purpose(SOP) Requirement for Study Abroad

One very important step to apply to the university is to explain why you want to be admitted to that university, and explain why and why you will be selected among so many thousands of applicants. To answer these questions, what is written to the University is Statement of Purpose (SOP).

Many universities ask to send CV, Motivation Letters, and Recommendation Letters with application form at Master’s level. This Motivation Letter is a very important part of your selection.
What is a motivation letter?

Motivation Letter and SOP [Statement of Purpose] are the same thing. This document gives different name in one university in one country. The fact that you are sending an application to the subject and why you want to study in that subject, why it is very fluent in standard English can be called a motivation letter written entirely in your own opinion and not directly imitating the structure / thought / sentence of any other writing.

How does the Motivation Letter be evaluated?

Each select committee has its own section, and they decide exactly what type of motivation letter they will accept. It is very difficult to say whether your motivation letter is really good enough. It depends on the university, the department, the selection committee and the person above. In the case of PhD, the professor or staff of the professors usually read the motivation letter. Germany has a separate admission committee for master. And they read them.

Does the motivation letter have any specific structure?

There is no specific size of the motivation letter. But the text should be coherent and consistent. The first sentence of each paragraph is very valuable. With this sentence you have to force the reader to read the entire paragraph. So try in the first sentence to keep some materials that hold the whole paragraph, it attracts its reader to read the entire paragraph.

Whatever information you need to provide …

Here is information that will happen in your life. Stop abusive writing. Refrain from posting difficult language structure, vocabulary learning from GRE, etc. Please refrain from copying the theme of any other motivation letter or making a direct pitch. All you need most is linguistic skills, literary attitudes, simple but interesting vocabulary, simple + complex + compound sentences, highly organizational and fluent and appropriately used.

In general, you can discuss the following topics. But it’s totally your independence. Generally, this is what the selectors want to see in the field of higher education.

  1. Higher education reasons. That is to say, you have successfully completed your education before coming to higher education, and you must have a valid applicant to be very honest and credible in your writing.

2. Contents of your higher education. Explain why you are interested in it. How did you know about this topic, whether there is a chance to do the job, your future about this, how you can use it in the benefit of the people, its relation to the goals of your life, etc. Here you can write here.

3. What will you do you do after accepting higher education? Explain how you want to form your career and how this higher education will affect your career.

  1. Why do you think it’s worthwhile to achieve higher education in that regard?
  2. Your personal success, work experience, sports and cultural contributions.
